I tried making something a bit different, not overly complicated but still with detail. also, I wanted to try designing with a more limited palette. I think it went pretty well.
gender/personality/that stuff is all up in the air really. the wings are actually tattooed on its back.
this was originally created as a contest entry, but didn't place.
I may do design commissions in the future. using this design as a basis, what do you guys think? maybe I'll even do one or two (at most) free or super discounted ones just to see how it goes if you think it's a good idea c:
