So, yesterday, I picked up this near pristine gouache paint set at a swap. I say "near pristine", because there is one tube of paint missing, and it just so happens to be the white one. So sad

I have a tube of water-based white acrylic, and I was wondering if that could be used as a substitute for white in gouache.

Yes, I believe acrylic is an okay substitute for gouache.
